David Lynch, really, Martin Scorsese, really, I fucking expect better from all of them. And you know what else is fucked up? If Polanski had just taken his sentence instead of running away like a little bitch, he would have been out of jail by now, and still making that “art through filmmaking.”
I’m really glad that Samantha Geimer has moved on with her life and is able to forgive him, but I’m sorry. If you rape somebody and plead guilty to it, you kind of have to go to jail.
